Flag Retirement

Scouts and Cubs from our Troop and Pack participated in the Flag retirement at American Legion Post 281.
	As Americans the flag of our nation holds a special place of honor and respect. As Scouts we take an oath to "do our duty to God and our Country". This includes learning and demonstrating proper respect for this emblem. The Scouts and Cubs of Troop and Pack 177 would like to thank the veterans of American Legion Post 281 for their service and the opportunity to participate in this flag retirment ceremony.

A "Once in a Lifetime" Experience for
Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, Explorers, Ships and Learning for Life Members of the White Horse District!
Join us on the waterfront in Camden as we celebrate Scouting’s Centennial Celebration on October 1, 2, 3, 2010. This event will be the premier Scouting 100th Anniversary Celebration event in all of New Jersey as we utilize the many waterfront attractions, demonstrations by various law enforcement and safety agencies, entertainment, as well as hands-on activities for Scouts of all ages. Spend the weekend in camp-o-ree style at Campbell's Field for two nights, or include a Friday night sleepover aboard the Battleship New Jersey or include a Friday night sleepover at Adventure Aquarium. Fee includes tours of the Battleship New Jersey, Adventure Aquarium and all Camp-o-ree attractions. Meals included in event price. We expect this event to be a sellout, and have already had inquiries from out of district and out of council units. White Horse units has exclusivity sign-ups prior to May 14, 2010. May 15 this event will be opened up to others districts. Fun for the entire family!

Cubs and Boy Scouts Honor our Heros on Memorial Day Our Cubs Marched with our BoyScouts in our Township Memorial Day Parade. The cubs also laid a wreath in rememberance of thise who gave all for our freedom.

Provide support for your son's den & pack
It's important to remember that the adult leaders of your son's den/pack are volunteers who give their own time to provide a quality program for your son. There are always times when help from parents in the pack is needed. By pitching in as needed, you can show your son the importance of helping others. So be on the lookout for opportunities for you to help the den, the pack, and its leaders.

Belt Loops and Pins can be earned for things you are doing outside of Cub Scouts. The requirements must be met while you are a Cub (they can't be met retroactively). To see if you have met the requirements for a Pin or Loop go to our Uniform page and click on Academics and Sports.


Lowe's Build and Grow Clinincs These are not Scout sponsored events, but they are really fun, and they are open to children of all ages!
